Mary Bell was born Marie-Jeanne Bellon December 23, 1900 in Bordeaux, and died August 14, 1985 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, is a French actress of theater and cinema.
Formed at the Conservatoire de Paris, she joined the Comédie-French.
She was awarded the Legion of Honour by President Charles de Gaulle for his courageous role in the French Resistance.
She was buried in the cemetery of Monaco (near Josephine Baker), with Jean Chevrier, who was her husband.
In the immediate pre-war, known as "French woman leading", it became the prototype of the elegant woman, as incarnated in his roles at the end of the silent and early talkies.
