Rare scale model for controlled circular races from the time.

It was with the 250F that British driver Stirling Moss won the Monaco GP and the Italian Grand Prix in 1956.

In total, Maserati's iconic car would take part in 566 races and lead its driver onto a podium 114 times.

The Maserati 250 F is a single-seater Formula 1 racing car from the Italian brand Maserati.

With the 2-litre Formula expiring at the end of 1953, the regulations for the 2,500 cm3 Formula, Formula 1, were launched for the following season, to the regret of Maserati who had not finished developing its promising Maserati A6GCM.

Maserati's response to these new specifications was launched in early 1954, it was first called the 6C 2500, for "6 cylinders" and 2,500 cm3, before taking the name 250F. Wikipedia
