LE CONCORDE – 1975

Superb period photograph depicting Concorde seen from the front on the tarmac, in a misty atmosphere that enhances the aircraft’s dramatic and almost sculptural presence.

The viewpoint particularly emphasizes Concorde’s exceptional geometry: its slender nose, vast delta wing and perfectly symmetrical silhouette create a striking and highly graphic composition. In the foreground, an airport vehicle and several members of the ground crew provide a sense of scale and reinforce the documentary character of the scene.

The diffused light, haze and slightly pinkish tones give the image a distinctive 1970s photographic aesthetic, somewhere between aviation documentation and artistic photography.
