Extremely rare Bronze Ballot of Automobile and Boat Engines, this sculpture was created by Emile Peynot in 1917, it is called La Renommée .

It later became the emblem of the Automobiles Ballot in the form of a silver bronze mascot. This model was awarded the silver medal in 1922 in the competition organised by the newspaper "L'Auto".

Ballot is a French car manufacturer from the first half of the 20th century.

The company was founded by 3 brothers and 1 sister ( Édouard and Maurice Ballot ) for the motor business in 19031, and its head office is 39 boulevard Brune in Paris 14e.
It manufactured its first competition cars in 1919 and its first passenger cars in 1921. It disappeared in 1938, after being bought by Hispano-Suiza in 1931, then sold to SNECMA.

Jean-Luc Ballot (born in Roanne in 1955) is the owner of the brands of the same name. Some of his engines have equipped the Ministry of Defence (boats, planes, submarines), and many others, then others for generators, and also oil and electric engines.

Rémi Ballot (Ethan Atwood), a young scriptwriter and director from Montbrison, is the heir to the Ballot brands.
