La Guerre des boutons is a French comedy film directed by Yves Robert, released in 1962. It is an adaptation of the eponymous novel La Guerre des boutons by the Franche-Comté writer Louis Pergaud published in 1912. The film stars André Treton, Michel Isella, Martin Lartigue in the role of the Little Gibus, as well as Jean Richard and Michel Galabru.
To date, it is the second of five film adaptations of the novel. The film was awarded the Prix Jean-Vigo and the prize for best French film at the Victoires du cinéma français.
